Lynx grills is building on their reputation as one of the finest bbq grill brands on the market today by announcing new improvements to their grill designs. Their innovative features, solid construction and stylish design have helped them gain tremendous popularity in recent years among consumers, especially with their Professional Series of gas grills.
Some of the notable improvements for 2009 gas grill models:
1.) Knob and Handle improvements: Burner Knobs, Handles, Handle End Caps and Rotisserie Motor Mounting Plate will be made from cast 300-series stainless steel to ensure maximum weather resistance and improved aesthetics.
2.) Electrical System Improvements:
A) Higher Capacity Transformers to eliminate any subtle dimming of the LED’s and internal halogen lights that may occur when pressing the control knobs for ignition.
B) Improved wiring harnesses connections to insure secure connections and proper voltage to ignition points for reliable lighting of grill burners.
C) Higher capacity battery storage (3 batteries vs. 2) for more reliable grill ignition in a temporary power outage.
D) Improved manual lighting system provides a simple alternative for lighting the grill burners easily and safely as a backup to the primary ignition.
3.) Maintenance Improvements:
A) Reverse mounting hardware for the hot surface / glow coil igniters, allowing igniters to be replaced in the field without removing the control panel.
B) Drip pan drain plugs to simplify the drainage of water that may collect in the drip pan should the grill be left uncovered in the rain.
C) Modified rear hood stops and application of hood bumpers to improve aesthetics and sound of grill lid when opening and closing.
4.) Security Improvements: Lynx has added a security chain fastening point that allows a free standing grill to be secured with a lock and chain.
You will find these product improvements on new Lynx grills beginning the first and second quarter of 2009. There will be no model number change to the current grill line.
